Job Placement Consultant Role

As a key professional in workforce reintegration, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with health challenges to find new employment opportunities and achieve meaningful and sustainable work.

  • Collaborate with injured workers, potential employers, and internal teams of allied health professionals to provide safe and sustainable job placements.
  • Contribute to injured workers' ability to achieve return-to-work goals through job skills development, confidence building, and promoting independence.
  • Apply and deliver exceptional customer service in employment services and job placement.
  • Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment.
  • Broker new employment opportunities in the local area, providing swift re-engagement into employment for workers detached from the workplace due to injury.
  • Build strong relationships with local employers and organizations.
  • Complete regular progress reports and other written documentation as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in employment services/disability employment as a high performer.
  • Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of local labor markets.
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers.
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers.
  • A current driver's license and motor vehicle are also required.
