This research-focused role is seeking a highly motivated individual to contribute to the development of quantum computing hardware based on silicon nanoelectronic devices.
The selected candidate will conduct theoretical research and collaborate with the team to advance our understanding of high-spin nuclei in silicon, enabling robust logical qubits for fault-tolerant quantum operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new theory for quantum information processing in high-dimensional systems.
- Conduct independent research with limited supervision.
- Collaborate across disciplines to inform future directions for experimental efforts.
Requirements:
- PhD in quantum physics or a related area.
- Demonstrated track record of developing original theory in quantum information processing and error correction.
- Strong background in theoretical quantum information processing and application to practical devices.
