Research Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our research team in the field of quantum computing hardware based on the spin of implanted donors, integrated within silicon nanoelectronic devices.

This role will focus on developing original theory in the demonstration of quantum information processing with high-spin nuclei in silicon, as well as applying quantum information theory to practical experimental platforms.

  • Theoretical Research: Conduct theoretical research of high nature in the development of quantum computing hardware and its applications.
  • Quantum Information Processing: Develop new theory for quantum information processing in high-dimensional systems and inform future directions for the experimental effort.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct independent research with limited supervision.
  2. Develop and implement new methods for quantum information processing.
  3. Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
  • PhD (or soon to be awarded) in quantum physics, quantum engineering, or related area.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing original theory in the field of quantum information processing and quantum error correction.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
