Job Opportunity in Quantum Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled chemist to lead a specialized R&D project focused on organic coatings for glass and dielectric materials.

  • This hands-on role will introduce new expertise into our multidisciplinary team, contributing directly to the future of quantum technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting controlled filling and sealing of alkali vapour cells, testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing cell-filling procedures, formulating and applying surface treatments to glass and dielectric surfaces, developing and applying physical or chemical vapour deposition methods, maintaining high standards in lab cleanliness and documentation, collaborating across technical disciplines to support advanced product development, and creating SOPs to ensure safety and precision in all lab operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD or Master's in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field, with a proven record of self-directed lab research.
  • Strong background in surface coatings, organic materials, or chemical processing.
  • Experience handling glass, vacuum sealing, or alkali metals (highly regarded).
  • Familiarity with vapour deposition techniques and clean lab environments.
