Job Title: Senior Avionics Engineer
\The primary function of the Senior Avionics Engineer is to provide technical leadership and expertise in the development, certification, and maintenance of avionics systems for aircraft.
\Key Responsibilities:\- \
- Develop and review aircraft Avionics / Electrical and/or Electronic System Modifications, including supporting documentation.\
- Hold Engineering Authority (EA) as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) under DASR Part 21J to authorize minor changes to type design & repairs and compliance check of major designs in support of DASA approval.\
- Apply Systems Engineering processes across the product lifecycle.\
- Provide coordination and support to project management of tasks through the design development and installation phases.\
- Provide advice to internal/external stakeholders and representing the team on specific projects, technical issues and in various intra-/inter-organisational meetings as required.\
- Provide oversight and review work of junior engineers for technical accuracy, adequacy and quality.\
- Relevant engineering degree (Avionics/Electrical/Mechatronics).\
- Experience as a Professional Engineer in the aviation industry.\
- Working knowledge of CASA/DASA/EASA regulations.\
- Understanding of Configuration Control and Design Change Management.\
- Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.\
