Aerospace Avionics Specialist

A family-owned and operated company, we operate and manage aircraft in all aspects of maintenance, fleet support systems, and management. We seek an experienced Avionics Engineer to join our team in Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and performing maintenance on aircraft, requiring demonstrated avionics experience on Bell 412 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance on aircraft, including certification/coordination for maintenance carried out or coordinated by themselves, engineers, and apprentices.
- Provide on-the-job training and direct supervision of unlicensed engineers and apprentices under their control.
- Offer ongoing mentoring and coaching to staff to meet department goals.
- Manage the ordering of spares, components, and materials as required for specific maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot aircraft autopilot, instrument, radio, and electrical systems to identify problems and adjust repair systems according to current data and instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).
- Ensure that work sheets, logs, tracking updates, and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- CASA Part 66 Aircraft Engineer License with B2 category.
- 2 years of maintenance experience on B-412 helicopters.
- 2 years of experience training and mentoring staff.
