Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and provide recommendations for assistive technologies.
  • To complete Home Modification Assessments and prescribe equipment to improve client safety and independence.
  • To support planning, equipment recommendations, and Activities of Daily Living (ADL)-based interventions.
  • To collaborate with our wound care specialists and generalist nurses to align therapy with clinical goals.
  • To prepare timely, professional reports that support funding applications and care plans.
  • To maintain accurate clinical documentation within our digital case management systems.
  • To build strong partnerships with clients, families, and referrers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • At least 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in community, aged care, or disability services.
  • Experience in functional and home modification assessments is essential.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Confidence with digital systems and remote work is essential.
  • A passion for person-centred care and improving client quality of life is crucial.
