About the role:

Due to growth, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team working within our Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) Program. This role is based around Northern Sydney, Ryde, and the surrounding areas.

Provide high quality, evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and intervention to our clients under Aged Care Funding. These services aim to promote independence and restore functional independence to enable clients to remain living at home.

Together as a team, we help people feel loved, valued, and respected.

About you:

- Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Authority
- Demonstrated abilityto assess Occupational Therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
- Postgraduate experienceworking in a variety of aged care services, including the community
- Comprehensive understanding of health and well-living models, including reablement and restorative care models
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required software to support working from home
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and promote the organisations values through interactions at work
- Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Valid unrestricted driver's license and a reliable registered vehicle with minimum of Third-Party Insurance
