We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our operations in the Gold Coast region.

This is a key role within our QLD leadership team, responsible for driving the strategic direction and day-to-day management of our branch.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a senior management role, ideally within the transport, logistics or warehousing industry.

A strong commercial acumen and business management skills are essential for this position, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description
  • Developing Business Plans: Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue, profitability and growth targets for the Gold Coast branch.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all operational aspects of the branch, including inventory management, staffing, budgeting and reporting.
  • Fostering a Positive Work Culture: Foster a positive, collaborative work culture and lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
  • Building Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
  • Sales Pipeline: Build a sales pipeline and identify new business opportunities to expand the branch's customer base and service offering.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: Significant experience (5+ years) in a senior management role, ideally within the transport, logistics or warehousing industry.
  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and business management skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management or a related field.
