**Field Service Supervisor Role Overview:**

Cavpower is the South Australian dealer for the supply, service and maintenance of Caterpillar heavy earthmoving, mining and ancillary equipment.

We are seeking a service driven individual to supervise the work of a team of field service technicians and ensure the product support provided to our customers represents outstanding value.

The role involves attending to customer enquiries, determining scope of work and providing an up-front estimate, establishing a timeline for required service / repairs and keeping the customer informed of costs, status and any changes to the work.

The ideal candidate will have leadership qualification or experience leading a small team, effective communication skills both written and verbal, sound influencing and negotiating skills, ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and accurate with a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities include allocating tasks to technicians to maximise labour resources, ensuring team members have clear direction on all daily activities, managing work orders and timesheets, assisting with the ordering of parts and tools for each job, monitoring compliance to SHEQ requirements and monitoring warranty work to ensure repairs are carried out to Caterpillar guidelines.

The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and diagnostic expertise as required to ensure jobs are finished in a timely manner.
