Workers Compensation Case Manager
We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team in managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective case management plans in collaboration with injured workers, employers, and health professionals.
- Making decisions on claims outcomes, seeking input from Injury Management Advisors and senior team members as needed.
- Manage claims for key corporate clients, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Ongoing review and implementation of case management plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Providing exceptional customer service to employers and building strong relationships.
- Accurately determining liability on new and existing claims.
- Managing core claims functions such as weekly compensation benefits and estimating.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in managing personal injury claims within the insurance industry.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Effective communication skills, including ability to utilise motivation interaction techniques.
- Strong customer focus with well-developed customer service skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and resilience in fast-paced environment.
- Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, displaying empathy and a drive for results.
- Ability to work independently in a supportive team environment.
