Workers Compensation Case Manager

We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team in managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective case management plans in collaboration with injured workers, employers, and health professionals.
  • Making decisions on claims outcomes, seeking input from Injury Management Advisors and senior team members as needed.
  • Manage claims for key corporate clients, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Ongoing review and implementation of case management plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to employers and building strong relationships.
  • Accurately determining liability on new and existing claims.
  • Managing core claims functions such as weekly compensation benefits and estimating.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing personal injury claims within the insurance industry.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to utilise motivation interaction techniques.
  • Strong customer focus with well-developed customer service skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and resilience in fast-paced environment.
