Salesforce Platform Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- User and license management, including new user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, and sharing rules.
- Salesforce configuration changes, including Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
- Identifying and gathering requirements, translating them into best-practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
- Identifying unused or underutilized platform features.
- Troubleshooting and solving issues with the Salesforce system.
- Providing support to users by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing training on the Salesforce platform.
- Creating and managing reports and dashboards to provide insights and inform data-driven decisions.
- Integrating Salesforce with other systems, such as external APIs, marketing automation tools, back-office systems, and other CRM systems.
- Ensuring data security and compliance by ensuring the data within Salesforce is secure and compliant with relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
- Liaising with key vendors, including Salesforce and external development and support vendors, to achieve business outcomes.
- Staying up-to-date with Salesforce releases and features and implementing them as necessary.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including subject matter experts, managers, executives, and technical resources.
- A demonstrated ability to solve problems.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and its capabilities, with the ability to configure and customize to meet the specific needs of the business.
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes, including Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
- Experience working with data within Salesforce, including data migration, data validation, and data quality management.
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge.
- At least 2+ years of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.
