Senior Calypso Asset Transformation Specialist

Work in a collaborative environment, balancing Sydney office and remote work requirements.

The role involves contributing to a major transformation program for an Australian financial institution, focusing on the Calypso asset within projects such as Product & Pricing, Risk & Regulatory, Collateral Management, and Version upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the OTC Calypso Stream, upgrading from v13 to v17.
  • Define critical paths, success criteria, and interpret metrics for business outcomes.
  • Initiate, plan, deliver, and implement, ensuring timely delivery and quality benchmarks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, demonstrating commercial acumen, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Communicate project progress to Executive stakeholders.
  • Manage resource requirements and stakeholder expectations across the program.
Mandatory Skills:
  • More than 10 years of experience in financial services, clearing risk, settlement, or registry functions.
  • Prior Calypso project experience as an SME or Delivery lead.
  • Technical financial risk IP, comfortable with JIRA, Confluence, and similar tools.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in large programs with multiple initiatives.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with effective problem-solving skills.
