Lead Healthcare Operations Specialist

The Director of Perioperative Services is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational and strategic direction of Perioperative Services.
This position will lead and develop high-performing perioperative teams, drive theatre activity growth, operational efficiency and excellence in patient care, foster a culture of accountability, innovation and patient-centred care, oversee clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement projects and accreditation readiness.
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, staff and key stakeholders to achieve business outcomes;
To be successful in this role, you will be a collaborative and inspiring healthcare leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.
Qualifications:
- Current registration as Registered Nurse with relevant authorities;
- Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing and/or health care management;
- Significant leadership experience at a senior or executive level within an acute hospital setting;
- Proven expertise in clinical, financial, risk and human resource management;
- Strong change management, strategic thinking and business development skills;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
