Hobart Clinical Operations Manager

Job Description:
The Team Leader, Hobart Clinical School, is responsible for managing a team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of administrative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to deliver high-quality administrative services, ensuring effective target setting, performance management, coaching, and staff development.
- Develop and maintain relationships across the clinical school, university stakeholders, and relevant health sector partners.
- Advise staff, students, and clinicians on relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
- Manage key operational aspects of program delivery, including recruitment, budget monitoring, space, infrastructure, safety, and compliance.
- Participate in working groups, forums, and other activities that contribute to program success.
Requirements:
- Leadership skills and ability to mentor and motivate others.
- Excellent oral and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand client needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to perform tasks accurately, attentively, and independently.
- Competence in using computer software applications, including word-processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and email.
- Ability to identify and implement improvements in work methods and the working environment.
Benefits:
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 level, with a total remuneration package up to $116,872, comprising base salary within the range of $92,120 to $99,891, plus 17% superannuation.
