About the Opportunity

The Team Leader is responsible for leading a small team of professional staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the University and health sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise a team to achieve efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the Hobart Clinical School and relevant University stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on University policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Oversee operational aspects of program delivery including recruitment, budget management, space allocation, infrastructure maintenance, safety protocols, and compliance monitoring.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate others to work efficiently, effectively, and cooperatively.
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand client needs and provide superior customer service.
  • Proven organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to complete tasks accurately, with attention to detail, and under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using various computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, and email.
  • Able to identify and implement improvements in work methods and the working environment.
