Reliable Maintenance Professional Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance on a baggage handling system incorporating automated storage cranes and specialized transport systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform repairs as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations and meet performance targets.
Requirements:
  • Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years of post-trade experience as a Service Technician, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical background and knowledge of industrial automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical).
  • Experience working in logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems.
  • Knowledge of automation systems, including conveyors and sortation systems.
