About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Community Development Coordinator to join our team at Landcare NSW. This is a part-time position (0.8 FTE) with flexible working hours and a negotiable contract.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering the Regional Community of Practice component of the NSW Landcare Program. You will be responsible for managing and accountable for the CoP budget, professional development and training of RLCs and LLCs, and ensuring that regional priority plans are aligned with the strategic and operational plans of LNSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver the Regional Community of Practice component of the NSW Landcare Program.
  • Accountable for the CoP budget and professional development and training of RLCs and LLCs.
  • Ensure that regional priority plans are aligned with the strategic and operational plans of LNSW.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in natural resource management, preferably in program delivery and project management.
  • Tertiary education in Natural Resource Management or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering complex projects, leading remotely located staff, and working in natural resource management.
  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Office, stakeholder relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, present ideas to teams, and multitask under pressure.
