The role of Nuclear Baseline Manager is pivotal in ensuring the necessary staffing, skills, competencies, and organisational structures are in place to deliver core nuclear knowledge and capability across the lifecycle of a project. This involves managing the development, implementation, and sustainment of the nuclear baseline capability to meet all authorisation requirements.
About the RoleThe position leads the creation of strategies and programs that enable the generation and justification of safety cases for the design, construction, and substantiation of Nuclear Naval Propulsion (NNP) facilities. It ensures alignment with design intent throughout the facility lifecycle, manages nuclear safety hazards and security threats, and maintains the organisation's intelligent customer capability across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing workforce capabilities in complex technical or high-hazard environments.
- Delivering workforce capability outcomes aligned with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Operating effectively in multi-disciplinary, multi-agency, and highly regulated settings, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements- Australian citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
- Tertiary qualifications in nuclear infrastructure or a related high-hazard industry.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience developing, implementing, and sustaining workforce capabilities in complex technical or high-hazard environments.
