About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a challenging role in Brisbane. Reporting to the National Specification Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing door hardware schedules that meet client requirements, Australian Standards and building codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate door hardware schedules ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and product requirements.
  • Interpret architectural plans and construction drawings to provide tailored solutions.
  • Provide expert product advice and technical training to clients and internal teams.
  • Monitor industry trends and customer movements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments.

About You

This role is ideal for experienced professionals or those looking to build a career in architectural hardware.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in the Architectural Door Hardware Industry.
  • Industry Accredited ADHA Level 1 certification.
  • A proven track record in door hardware specification.
  • A background in locksmithing (preferred but not essential).
  • A strong understanding of Australian Standards and local regulations.
  • Experience with mechanical, electro-mechanical and Electronic Access Control systems (desirable).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service skills.
