The primary focus of this position is to drive market expansion and promote architectural hardware solutions by engaging with builders and fabricators operating in the aged care, multi-residential, and commercial project sectors.
Responsibilities- Deliver tailored solutions to clients and contribute to team success and growth.
- Develop strong relationships with clients state-wide.
- Action customer and prospective customer requests within a timely manner.
- Promote the door hardware product portfolio to all parties involved in targeted projects and develop strong relationships to secure repeated business nationwide.
- Track key/target projects from specification through to construction.
- Identify and develop new customers and projects with potential.
- Provide take-offs and quotes for key/target projects from architectural plans.
- Offer solutions to design problems and provide optional products.
- A confident account manager who can take the lead and develop strong client relationships.
- An outgoing personality and ability to interact effectively with people.
- Action-oriented individual who can meet customer and prospective customer requests in a timely manner.
- Proven sales experience selling products to the construction industry, preferably with trade experience.
- Competency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
