Paediatric Unit Leader

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to lead and develop our paediatric unit.
About the RoleThis position requires an experienced clinical nurse to apply their expertise in supporting and guiding pilot projects, ensuring effective translation into improved practice. The successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring junior nursing staff, fostering a culture of professional development and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Apply advanced clinical knowledge and skills to support project implementation.
- Mentor and support junior nursing staff in developing their clinical skills.
- Contribute to service improvements through data-driven evaluation and decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing, with current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate qualifications or significant experience in paediatrics, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and expertise.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior staff effectively.
