Job Title: Senior Sourcing Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management plan for food categories within our company.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to take on a leadership role and drive business outcomes through effective category strategies, supplier partnerships, and cost optimization.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute 1–3 year category plans aligned with our sourcing strategy.
  2. Analyse industry trends, risks, and opportunities to drive category strategies.
  3. Build strong supplier partnerships, lead negotiations, and oversee supplier performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Culinary, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance) to deliver business outcomes.
  5. Drive cost reductions, manage category spend, and implement long-term savings strategies.
  6. Ensure regulatory and sustainability requirements are met, while enhancing packaging, quality, and customer experience.
  7. Scout, onboard, and commercialise new suppliers and products to support growth objectives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and/or Business Administration.
  • 5–7 years' experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within Manufacturing, Retail, or FMCG.
  • Proven expertise in food ingredient procurement (Dry Goods, Grocery, Food Service).
