Theoretical Physics Lecturer (B/C) Position
About the Role
We are seeking an outstanding theoretical physicist to join our team as a Lecturer (B/C) in Theoretical Physics at the University of Adelaide. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced team of physicists and contribute to our research and teaching activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in theoretical particle and nuclear physics, and contribute to the development of our research program.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in theoretical physics, and supervise students in their research projects.
- Collaborate with experimentalists and other theorists to advance our understanding of fundamental physics.
- Develop and maintain a strong publication record in leading academic journals.
- Contribute to the development of our research group's activities and initiatives.
Requirements
- PhD in Theoretical Physics or equivalent higher degree.
- Strong research background in theoretical particle and nuclear physics.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
