About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Theoretical Physicist to join our team as a Lecturer (B/C) at the University of Adelaide. This is a continuing position, offering a full-time opportunity to work alongside our esteemed physics discipline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research in theoretical particle and nuclear physics, contributing to our existing and emerging strengths in the field.
  • Teach and mentor undergraduate students, promoting quality education and research skills.
  • Supervise graduate students, fostering their growth and development in theoretical physics.
  • Collaborate with experimentalists, encouraging close interaction and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
  • PhD in Theoretical Physics or equivalent higher degree, with expertise in areas relevant to our research strengths.
  • Commitment to excellence in theoretical physics, with a demonstrated track record of research achievements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
