Positive Behaviour Support Specialist

Job Opportunity:
- This role involves working with clients to improve their lives through Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
- You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment that values collaboration and teamwork.
- As a Behavioural Support Clinician, you will assist in developing and implementing behaviour plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Experience in a similar setting is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behaviour plans to meet the needs of clients.
- Assist in assessing client needs and developing individualized support plans.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in behaviour support.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in psychology, social work or a related field.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of behaviour support principles and practice.
