Positive Behaviour Support Professional

As a skilled practitioner in positive behaviour support, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with complex needs to reach their full potential. Your expertise will be applied to deliver evidence-based behavioural assessments and implement strategies to reduce complexity and build resilience.
- Conduct thorough behavioural assessments to identify areas of need and develop tailored support plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support services that meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Develop and deliver training programs for Behaviour Support Practitioners on plan writing and restrictive practices.
- Consult with families, carers, and other service providers to ensure seamless coordination of care.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Health Science, Behavioural Science, Education or a related field.
- Pre-existing registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS.
- A valid Australian driver's license.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- A Blue Card.
