Overview

Responsibilities
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying needs.
  • Design and implement person-centred Behaviour Support Plans that drive meaningful, positive change.
  • Provide education and training to carers and support teams to build capacity and confidence.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines by reviewing and actively reducing restrictive practices.
  • Collect and analyse data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.

About You

We believe that talented clinicians are developed and nurtured, not just found through an exhaustive list of requirements. The following requirements apply for our PBS practitioners:

  • You are endorsed as 'Core' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required).
  • You hold a relevant bachelor7s degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
  • You have full Australian working rights.
  • You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver7s licence.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check.
