Job Overview:

This is a pivotal role in the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects, shaping Australia's clean energy future.

Key responsibilities include coordinating early works activities, stakeholder engagement, permitting and planning approvals, geotechnical studies, and identifying project risks.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure site and grid readiness through technical and regulatory coordination.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement with clients, suppliers, utilities, councils, landowners, and internal teams.
  • Manage permitting, planning approvals, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Oversee geotechnical studies, surveys, and temporary site works.
  • Support procurement, subcontractor engagement, and site mobilisation.
  • Maintain compliance with WHS and environmental standards, identify project risks.

Qualifications and experience:

  • A strong understanding of utility-scale solar development and grid connection in Australia.
  • 5–7 years' experience in renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure project management.
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
  • Excellent stakeholder, commercial, and project planning skills.
  • Familiarity with AEMO and network service provider processes (desirable).
