Job Summary

We are seeking a Transport Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely tracking and data entry of transport logistics. This self-motivated individual will be expected to work autonomously and as part of a team, making confident decisions under pressure.

Main Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely tracking and data entry of transport logistics
  • Planning and scheduling local pickups and deliveries to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Identifying and resolving operational issues as they arise to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Maintaining compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Clear and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations
  • Promoting and supporting a safe and healthy work environment through proactive measures and initiatives
  • Optimising load capacities for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an operations or supervisory role within the heavy vehicle industry
  • Ability to provide up-to-date, contactable references that demonstrate expertise and commitment
  • Willingness to learn internal software systems and adapt to new technologies
  • Capable of performing under pressure in a time-critical environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders
