As a key player in our logistics operations, the Transport Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of goods and materials. This critical role requires strong logistical skills and experience in the heavy vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Effective Data Management: Accurate tracking and data entry to ensure seamless operational processes
- Operational Planning: Scheduling local pickups and deliveries, optimizing load capacities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving operational issues as they arise, making confident decisions under pressure
- Communication: Clear and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Safety and Compliance: Maintaining compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements, promoting a safe and healthy work environment
This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires the ability to work autonomously and within a team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of transport logistics and be willing to learn internal software systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in an operations or supervisory role within the heavy vehicle industry
- Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- References: Ability to provide up-to-date, contactable references
- Software Systems: Willingness to learn internal software systems
- Licence: Current forklift licence is advantageous
