Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Funeral Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our funeral homes, cemeteries and crematoria, while maintaining our commitment to excellence in customer service.

About You

  • You have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including families, staff and external partners.
  • You have a proven track record in operations management, with experience in managing multiple sites and teams.
  • You are results-driven, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and achieving business objectives.
  • You have a deep understanding of the funeral industry, with knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and best practices.
  • You are able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead and manage a team of funeral directors, administrative staff and other support personnel.
  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of our funeral homes, cemeteries and crematoria, including staff management, inventory control and facility maintenance.
  • To develop and implement operational policies and procedures, aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • To collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing and customer service, to achieve business objectives.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, including financial statements, customer feedback and employee performance.
