About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of a funeral home or mortuary, ensuring that high-quality services are provided to clients during their time of need. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with clients and their families, managing staff and resources, and ensuring that all funeral services are conducted with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of funeral service professionals
  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow revenue and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage funeral services and cremations, ensuring that all procedures are followed and that clients receive high-quality care
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of funeral services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Manage staff performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices


Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in funeral services or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
