Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Quarry Manager to lead our operations and drive success through excellence in safety, production, quality, and people leadership.

  • Safety First: Champion and enforce rigorous safety protocols to achieve outstanding performance outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Effectively manage daily operations, ensuring production priorities align with quality standards and forecasts.
  • People Leadership: Inspire and empower staff and contractors through hands-on management and mentorship.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure seamless adherence to licensing, consent, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Contribution: Play a pivotal role in strategic planning and execution of short-term and long-term Capital Works and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in Quarrying Operations or Mining with a strong track record of leadership.
  • Leadership Skills: Proactive ability to identify, manage, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Budget Management: Experience in developing and controlling expenditure budgets.
  • LEAN Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with LEAN principles is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: Relevant Quarry management qualifications and/or tertiary education.
