Medical Specimen Collector

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Specimen Collector to join our team in Darwin, Northern Territory.
This is a casual position with flexible 24/7 hours due to the dynamic nature of work, requiring short notice availability for incident response.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting workplace testing for drugs of abuse, including breath alcohol, oral fluid, urine, and/or hair
- Ensuring the secure chain of custody for specimens and maintaining accurate records of all on-site visits
- Coordinating the transportation of collected specimens to laboratories as needed
To be successful in this role, you will have general availability 24/7, a current driver's license, and a reliable vehicle. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements is also essential.
A national leader in workplace safety and wellbeing, Programmed is offering a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently, following established processes and procedures. You will need to pay close attention to details, solve problems logically, and communicate clearly and effectively.
The estimated salary range for this position is based on industry standards and the location of Darwin, NT.
