Quality Assurance Specialist

This position is ideal for an individual with a trade background looking to transition into an office-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team and trade function to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Develop objective quality evidence to satisfy internal and external customer requirements, guaranteeing vessel integrity.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and record them in Austal's quality management system.
  • Liaise with the quality assurance function to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in Austal's operating processes and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in a relevant field (mechanical fitter, boilermaker, painter).
