Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Investor Services Associate to join our Private Wealth team in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, operational aspects of onboarding Blackstone Funds, fielding inquiries from distribution partners and internal sales teams, and developing strong working relationships with colleagues, teams, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management across various teams to effectively onboard new distribution partners
  • Assist in the operational aspects of onboarding Blackstone Funds to various service providers, distribution platforms globally, and investment platforms locally
  • Field operational inquiries from distribution partners and internal sales teams on Blackstone investment offerings
  • Liaise with Blackstone business units, transfer agents, and other third-party service providers relating to account opening, client inquiries, problem resolutions, and reconciliations
  • Develop a strong understanding of distribution partners' operational platforms
  • Implement efficient and consistent processes across various funds in different regions
  • Assist in ad hoc projects, research, and proposals to strategize and support Private Wealth expansion including new geographic markets and new business channels

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of work experience in the fund business industry or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem analysis and resolution
  • Ability to identify and summarize issues and recommendations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Highly driven and proactive with the ability to take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment
  • Understanding of Australia's HNW and Financial Advisor operating models
  • Able to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, teams, and clients
  • Knowledge of alternative investment fund and operational terms is helpful
  • Proficiency in Asian languages (preferred)
  • RG 146 Qualification (preferred)
