
Strategic Business Development Manager for Alternative Investments

We are seeking a seasoned business development professional to spearhead our expansion into alternative investments and private markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving growth through strategic partnerships.
The successful candidate will possess a strong track record in business development, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to grow funds under management across diversified investment strategies and product lines, with a focus on alternative investments and private market opportunities.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand professional networks, generate qualified leads, and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the private markets space, including private equity, real estate, and private credit.
- Support capital raising activities by engaging with prospective investors, preparing pitch materials, and presenting tailored investment proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and referral networks.
- Collaborate with partners and the marketing team to deliver targeted campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
About You:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in business development, wealth advisory, capital raising, or financial services.
- Proven track record of success in business development, networking, and capital raising.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge across private markets and alternative investments.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or a related field (RG146 required).
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and thrives in a professional services environment.
- Well-presented and able to build and maintain client relationships.
- Comfortable with travel as required to attend client meetings, events, and offices across various regions.
- Long-term commitment is essential.
