**Environmental Sustainability Specialist**

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in upholding our commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship across all facets of our operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all construction activities comply with local environmental regulations and standards.
  • Conducting comprehensive environmental impact assessments for proposed projects to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Designing and overseeing the management of waste treatment systems, evaluating and selecting appropriate methods to ensure safety and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Assessing and predicting potential long-term environmental impacts of projects, and developing strategies and measures for long-term environmental management and mitigation.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to minimize the environmental footprint of construction projects, including waste management and resource efficiency.
  • Collaborating with clients, regulatory authorities, and community stakeholders to address environmental concerns and foster positive relationships.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams regarding environmental best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to environmental management systems to enhance sustainability performance.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in environmental management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in environmental impact assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
