Job Title: Truck Pre-Delivery Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Pre-Delivery Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring vehicles are thoroughly inspected, prepared, and fitted with accessories prior to delivery.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle preparation, with experience in working on trucks. They will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, ordering parts as needed, and fitting accessories according to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and prepare vehicles for delivery, ensuring all necessary components are in place
  • Order and obtain parts as required, maintaining accurate records of purchases
  • Fitting of accessories as specified by customers, adhering to strict quality control standards
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle systems, technologies, and industry developments
  • Manage workspace, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and safe at all times
  • Test drive and conduct final assessments before delivering vehicles to customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service to dealership staff and customers
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of working with trucks and vehicle preparation
  • A current, unrestricted HR driver's license
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience in hands-on roles requiring physical labor
  • Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards
