Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Agricultural Research Scientist to join our team in a research project focused on environmental sciences. The project aims to integrate hydrological measurements, contaminant concentrations, microbial profiles, and land use data to identify contaminants of concern and assess their toxicity and ecological risks.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel methods for identifying ecological risk profiles for key flora & fauna species in flood-affected nonurban landscapes. They will also work closely with our team to design and implement field experiments to understand and predict ecological risks during flood events in nonurban landscapes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with leading researchers in the field of environmental protection and apply your skills in data analysis and interpretation to inform environmental risk assessments for antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Biology, Ecology, or related field;
  • Relevant experience in research projects, preferably in agricultural, veterinary, or food sciences;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze large datasets;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
