This role plays a vital part in implementing the College's vision and mission, fostering growth in faith, and enhancing student learning. The successful applicant will assist the school leadership team in organization and management, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to education.

Essential Criteria

The ideal candidate demonstrates the following:

  • A deep understanding and commitment to Catholic Schools within the broader Catholic Church.
  • A strong commitment to academic excellence and knowledge of contemporary pedagogy, assessment, and differentiated learning.
  • An ability to foster a culture of shared responsibility for teaching quality and student growth, informed by data.
  • Leadership skills in learning, innovation, and collaboration.
  • An understanding of NESA requirements and experience in implementing effective teaching programs.
  • Knowledge of all courses within the relevant KLA.
  • A proven track record of success in Stage 6 CAPA.
Desirable Criteria

The ability to teach Religious Education and/or Studies of Religion is highly desirable.

  • An ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Qualifications
  • Qualifications for teaching courses within the CAPA KLA up to HSC level.
  • Level C Accreditation or a commitment to obtain it within the first contractual period.
  • NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or higher.
Working with Children Clearance

This role requires a valid Working With Children clearance prior to commencement.
