Electrical Commissioning Expert

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, testing and maintaining HV electrical systems by carrying out pre-commissioning tests of new and refurbished systems within substations.

This is a full-time, permanent position available in NSW, with relocation assistance provided for interstate applicants who are willing to relocate or travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transformer testing
  • Control panels
  • Primary injection testing
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Commissioning primary and secondary equipment within a substation
Requirements:
  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Associate Diploma, or an Electrical Trade
  • Demonstrated site-based experience working on a roster with the willingness to travel to rural areas
  • Experience with high-voltage equipment is highly regarded but not essential
  • Flexibility to travel and work on a roster
  • Australian Drivers Licence
