Job Title: Locomotive Operatives

As Aurizon continues to thrive, we are seeking qualified operatives to operate locomotives in a variety of roles. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who can demonstrate superior teamwork skills, flexibility, and a high level of safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate locomotives including mainline, shunting and marshalling
• Examine and certify trains as ready for departure
• Work in accordance with safety and operational standards and procedures
• Maintain a high level of on-time running
• Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives
• Provide high-quality customer service

Requirements:
• Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster
• Experience in freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive operation advantageous
• Certificate IV in Rail Operations or equivalent qualification
• Current unrestricted Class C driver's license
