Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our Site Reliability Engineering team as a Senior Service Reliability Engineer.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overall stability of our gaming service by influencing design and operational decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage technical expertise to lead discussions around reliability and scalability improvements
  • Develop high-level designs for new products and platforms
  • Mentor junior SRE staff
  • Respond to incidents and conduct post-mortem activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize reliability improvements
  • Contribute to code to enhance reliability and implement automation to reduce ongoing toil

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Development and/or Linux Systems Administration
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to participate in on-call rotation

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient as a Linux Production Systems Engineer
  • Experience managing large-scale Web Services infrastructure
  • Development experience in Python or other languages such as Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust
  • Familiarity with distributed data storage at scale, NoSQL at scale, data aggregation technologies, scaling and running traditional RDBMS, monitoring & alerting, incident management toolsets, software distribution, configuration management, and software performance analysis and load testing
