Job Overview

This is a key role that supports the successful implementation of Delegated Authority strategies. The specialist will work closely with the team to ensure compliance with all relevant frameworks and procedures.

The Role
  • Provide administrative support for all third-party delegated authority arrangements, ensuring timely processing and resolving queries.
  • Work collaboratively with Underwriters to provide tailored services aligned with market requirements and company framework.
  • Bordereaux management and EPI monitoring assistance to process and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Support the approval process as part of Delegated Authority Procedures, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare performance reports and insights on delegated authority arrangements, discussing key performance indicators with Underwriting teams.
  • Coordinate audit planning and follow-up programs for Coverholders, MGAs, service companies, and DCAs.
  • Develop strong relationships with business units, particularly Underwriting teams, to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Attend Delegated Underwriting Managers' forums and market seminars/workshops, providing summaries as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Delegated Authorities Administration within an insurance company, preferably in the Lloyd's market.
  • Excellent attention to detail, due diligence, and investigative skills.
  • Strong analytical, written, and communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
