Leadership Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a watch officer.

About the Role:

As a watch officer, you will play a key leadership role in providing mentorship and guidance to young people on board our sail training ships. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a watch group through shipboard activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to young people
  • Lead a watch group of trainees through shipboard activities
  • Act as primary first aid attendant for all trainees and crew
  • Oversee the management of the ship's merchandise

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with young people and respond to their spiritual needs
  • Wholehearted agreement with a Christian statement of faith and ethics
  • Canadian citizenship or current work permit for Canada
  • Other specific requirements may vary by role (we provide training)
