Children's Program Implementer

The Cumberland City District is an exciting area to work in, located within the Central City and close to new cities. The district benefits from significant city-scale infrastructure investments.

Council focuses on delivering community outcomes, programs and services that innovate, inspire and drive change for the represented community.

This position will be responsible for implementing children's initiatives, projects and child protection programs. To succeed, the applicant requires:

  • Tertiary qualifications in education, social science or a related field;
  • A Valid Working with Children Check Clearance Number;
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in working with diverse communities, including culturally and linguistically diverse families;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including ability to develop reports, formal correspondence, promotional material and presentations;

Employment conditions are in accordance with the NSW Local Government Award. Salary range: $1,211.45 - $1,393.17 per week plus 10% superannuation.
