Job Title: Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Foster Care Team as a Family Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to children, families and carers in foster care placements.

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in social work, psychology or relevant field, and previous experience in case management, particularly in child protection related programs. You will also be required to possess a drivers license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide short and long term case management support to children, families and carers in foster care placements
  • Supervise, assess and support carers to ensure placements are safe, nurturing and child focused
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver holistic support services to vulnerable clients
