Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a Family Support Specialist to join our team, where you will play a vital role in empowering at-risk families to achieve positive outcomes.
As a Family Support Specialist, you will work collaboratively with families to identify their strengths and needs, develop personalized case plans, and provide support to help them overcome challenges. Your expertise in child protection and social services will enable you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.
About the Role:- Conduct thorough assessments of each family's circumstances to inform case planning
- Develop and implement evidence-based case plans that prioritize family well-being and resilience
- Build strong relationships with families, fostering trust and encouraging open communication
- Qualifications as a Social Worker, Psychologist, or Case Worker
- Proven experience in child protection or out-of-home care, utilizing a strengths-based approach
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in technology and its application in service delivery
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with a particular emphasis on working effectively with local Aboriginal communities
